Hi and welcome to the first edition of “Bartsch Territory” where we hope to keep you all up to date with what we’re up to. Firstly, a big thankyou to all who have been praying for us. We have now been up here for a month with challenges along the way already, but God has seen us through. Our journey to the territory started at 3:00am on 18th January as we drove both cars to Melbourne with all aboard including the cat and dog. We then offloaded the pets and cars before catching our flight.

Garage Sale coming up this saturday, 14th March! Starts at 8am. No early birds. If you would like to donate goods please drop them off at the Naringal Church on Friday, from 1pm to 3pm. No clothes accepted [please take them to the Salvos or your nearest op-shop]. Electrical goods must be in very good condition. Electrical goods will be checked for safety and tagged according to OHS regulations. Open the attachment to see the flyer. Feel free to display this at your local milkbar/shop etc. All proceeds go towards mission support [local, practical and overseas].

MISSIONS GROUP Missions group meets every 6 weeks. Our aim is to support a range of different missions both local & overseas by prayer, communication & fund raising. We are keen to make church members more aware of the missions we support by having a monthly “Mission Spot” at church & showing short information DVD’s. “Mission of the Month” allows us to focus on a particular mission & learn more about it over a 2 month period. Each year we knit & collect warm clothing to send to an orphanage in the Ukraine. We also support an orphanage & other projects in Thailand. The Women’s Fistula Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia was another fund raising focus. The highlight of last year was to send a Mission team to Thailand. Simone, who was a member of the team will tell you more about it in her report. |
