It's that pesky sign getting noticed again; this time for The Standard by 'Fletch' the sports writer. The original article.

Then there was an advertisement for a radio station which featured a panel of football personalities including former Warrnambool premiership coach Grant Thomas.

THE latest words of wisdom carried by the Naringal Baptist Church billboard resonate for footballers and netballers throughout the region: ``When you lose, don't forget the lesson.''

I suppose there's practical lessons that apply to all facets of life. Thank God for that.

Most Church billboards are easy to go past, but this one in Naringal outside the Naringal Union Church caught my eye this morning... Makes you wonder what the sermons must be like inside...! If you spot a good one, take a photo and send it in... Let's celebrate creative roadside signsmanship, if we can call it that.
