2010 Church Goals

Please find enclosed in your newsletter this week a copy of our 2010 Church Goals. These goals are based on your input at the Annual Church Vision Night held in January. This is the third year we have done this, and as we embark on 2010, it is worth looking back at some previous goals we have been able to achieve.

2008

· Allansford Cheese World – 3^rd Sunday

· Bi-annual hospitality lunch – May and September

· Women’s nights

· Children’s holiday program

· Mission trip to Thailand

· ***he to missions

· Complete sale of manse

2009

· Establish a Kid’s Hope ministry at Allansford Primary School

· Establish new home groups

· Home groups to share in church services

· Weather proof the parking area

As you can see, setting goals has helped to give our church a clear direction. While we must be careful to remain open for the Holy Spirit to move in unexpected ways (Eg 2009 Yarra Glen fencing trip), I encourage you to look at our 2010 goals and prayerfully consider what you can get involved in, bearing in mind that “He (Christ) is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20)
