2010 Church Goals
Please find enclosed in your newsletter this week a copy of our 2010 Church Goals. These goals are based on your input at the Annual Church Vision Night held in January. This is the third year we have done this, and as we embark on 2010, it is worth looking back at some previous goals we have been able to achieve.

 Hi all,
Well, I'm back home in Australia and what an adventure I've had! Now settling back into 'normality' I decided to take time to write and thank you for your support and tell how it has helped me and our mission this past summer. So in a nutshell this was my Teen Missions experience.
Arriving at The Lords Boot camp in Tewantin, Queensland on the 12th of December was stepping into the unknown. The 10 day program turned out to be an intense time of team building exercises, learning brick laying, concreting, carpentry, music, puppets and many different speakers with messages relevant to our upcoming obstacles. During this time though, our team was able to grow and develop into a family which was to be a very valuable thing once we got on field.

On Wednesday evening, January 13th we will have our annual Vision Night. This is a very important event in the life of our church, as it is here that we seek God's direction for the coming year. The night starts at 6:30pm with a BBQ tea (BYO salads, everything else provided), and the meeting starts at 7:30pm. We encourage everyone to come along and review our goals from 2008, and then brain-storm for 2009. While all ideas will be collated and considered, the leadership team will meet after the Vision Night to formulate the goals for the coming year. |

This Sunday will be a batismal service (25/10/09). Come and celebrate with us. Perhaps you are considering baptism or would like to find out more about it. If so, our Pastor Malcolm would love to speak with you further about it. |

The program
saturday 30th October 6:30PM Spit Roast Tea
Gold Coin donation. BYO Salads, plates etc.
Venue: Gary Drake’s, St Mary’s Road Wangoom. (Go east over O’Keefes Road to the crest of the hill, turn right into drive.)
7:30PM Bush dance
Sunday 1st November 10:30AM Combined Church service at Kings College
We will be gathering to worship God, pray, listen to stories from Heartland and to share communion together.
The offering collected on the day will go towards further relief work in partnership with Heartland. Offerings for your own church should be retained for the following week.
NB. There will be no Sunday Service at Naringal on November 1st.
